NSF GRFP Award

Special Seminar By Professor Silvera

June 23, 2023. Prof. Fernando Silveira from Universidad de la Republica, Uruguay presented his latest research work on design of low-power analog circuits and also methodologies to design such circuits to the LCAS team. In his talk, he provided a short overview on existing design methodologies, and how these methodologies can be applied to modern circuit topologies, such as power amplifiers, among others.

Apr 1, 2023. Congratulations to Behdad Jamadi, Farzad Ordubadi, Sakthidasan Kalidasan for their articles being accepted for publication in the IEEE SMACD Conference. Entitled: “Extending C/ID Methodology for Optimal Implementation of Discrete Time Analog Circuits,” and “Design Flow to Develop Wideband Inverter-Based Circuits Using C/ID Methodology,” two articles on analog design methodology will be presented [Link].

Feb 2, 2023. Congratulations to Asif Wahid, Jacob Atkinson, and Rajath Bindiganavile for their article being accepted for publication in the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems-II. Entitled: “Noise-Aware Circuit Design Using C/ID-Invariant,” a systematic approach to design basic low-noise analog circuits, such as amplifiers and oscillators have been proposed [Link].

Special Seminar: Prof. Walling

Nov 4, 2022. Prof. Jeffery Walling from Virginia Tech presented his latest research work on design of Switched-Cap Power Amplifiers (SCPAs) to the faculty and graduate students of our department. This type of circuits have wide range of applications, including MIMO Wireless systems.
